Sand.
How amazing in this land!
Sand. How strangely it behaves!
When the wind blows it, it makes ripples that look just like waves.
Sand. What a dream!
When you pour out a handful it falls like a stream.
Sand. How about that!
People of the desert use it to find the hole in a leaky inner tube, when your tire is flat.
Sand. Phenomenal!
Use it to scrape clean a dirty battery terminal
Sand. So many uses, I’ll say!
Mothers use it to cover their children’s excrement, then scoop it and throw it away.
Sand. A centerpiece of modernity
Essential ingredient in construction and technology
Sand. It takes a while,
But artists use it to make great masterpieces in a bottle to admire
Sand. A paradox.
Soldiers stop bullets by putting it in sacs while beachgoers like to relax on it and detox
Sand.
It is gentle, yet compacted can be very firm
It is fine, yet scratches when wind blows it in your eyes
It can seem boring, yet can be stunningly beautiful
But it doesn’t bring life.
